Prohibited Items Policy

1. Overview

To maintain a safe, legal, and trustworthy marketplace, Bush House General Merchants prohibits the listing, advertising, or sale of certain items. This list is not exhaustive — Bush House reserves the right to remove any listing that it deems inappropriate, unsafe, or illegal, at its sole discretion.

Vendors found listing prohibited items will have their accounts immediately suspended and may be reported to relevant law enforcement authorities.

2. Absolutely Prohibited Items

Weapons and Dangerous Items

• Firearms, ammunition, and firearm components without valid licences
• Explosives, fireworks, and pyrotechnic devices
• Knives and bladed weapons marketed for harm
• Stun guns and tasers (where prohibited by local law)
• Chemical and biological weapons or related components

Controlled and Illegal Substances

• Illegal drugs and narcotics of any kind
• Prescription medications without proper licencing and verification
• Drug paraphernalia
• Substances intended to facilitate assault or abuse

Counterfeit and Fraudulent Items

• Counterfeit goods, replica branded items, or goods sold under false representation
• Pirated software, media, or digital content
• Fake identification documents, currency, stamps, or government seals

Human and Animal Exploitation

• Human trafficking, exploitation services, or slavery-related content
• Illegal wildlife products (ivory, rhino horn, protected species)
• Products involving animal abuse or cruelty

Offensive and Harmful Content

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — immediately reported to authorities
• Content that promotes, glorifies, or incites violence, hatred, or terrorism
• Content that harasses, defames, or exploits individuals

Financial and Legal Violations

• Pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, or multi-level marketing products that violate law
• Stolen goods or property
• Items subject to trade embargoes or international sanctions

3. Restricted Items (Require Approval)

• Alcohol and tobacco products (require age verification and appropriate licencing)
• Medical devices and health supplements (require regulatory approval documentation)
• Agricultural chemicals and pesticides (require regulatory compliance)
• Used underwear and intimate apparel (subject to hygiene verification)

4. Reporting Prohibited Listings

If you encounter a listing that violates this policy, please report it immediately by emailing support@bushhousegeneralmerchants.com with the product link and reason for concern. We take all reports seriously and investigate within 24 hours.

5. Consequences

Listing prohibited items will result in immediate listing removal, account suspension, forfeiture of any outstanding payments, and may result in reporting to law enforcement where required by law.
